Family Time

We've had a busy week with Nick's family visiting. We all had a great time, and we're so glad they could all come.

The day we went to the zoo it rained really hard. So while we waited it out under the shelter with the giant cats, Hudson and Grandpa J played in the rain. Hudson is a little copycat, so when Grandpa stepped out to feel the rain, Hudson just had to do it too.
How wonderful that Uncle Tristan and Daddy are already teaching Hudson the fine art of playing video games.
The kids and I got to go visit the great-grandparents. This was their first time meeting Maren.

This is a still shot from the previous post's video. Grandpa and Grandma J were making Hudson and his precious cousin giggle. It was pretty cute, as the video shows.

In the midst of the J family visiting, Aunt Ali and Uncle Sam (We constantly remind Hudson that this Uncle Sam is not the "government", like one might think. That's just really his name! - Weird, I know.) got to visit for a short time as well. It was fun to see them, and it seemed as though Sam really enjoyed meeting Maren and seeing how Hudson has changed since their wedding.
