No need to be scared, friends. It's just Hudson under that paint. (Thanks to Miss Haley and Miss Emily at VBS last week!)

Super Why = Super Cool

Hudson and his friend Libby got to meet Super Why. Oh what a special day that was. What I didn't capture was Libby planting a kiss right on Super Why's cheek. Unprovoked. And notice how brave Hudson's getting. There was a time when Hudson wouldn't think of approaching a giant, green super hero. Let alone smile in a picture with one.

Hudson loves his underarmor - or slimy shirt, as he calls it. He likes to wear it for playing sports and showing off his big muscles. I like him to wear it so I can gaze upon his physique.

The big news at the Jarecke house (which you likely already know) is that we're expecting baby #3. No belly shots of mama yet, but here's a good one of Maren. If you ask her where the baby is, she'll usually lift up her shirt and pat her tummy.
